Uni takes up too much time...

So unfortunately, university has gone back earlier than everyone thought it was meant to, which means I no longer have much spare time for anything, much less drawing pictures out of sheer enjoyment. BUT I do have to do creative arts this semester, so I will be drawing some of my friend's portraits, but because of the time limit, they may not be very good, so I'm not sure whether they'll get put on here or not!
Currently, though, I am slowly working on a drawing of my husband's family's late dog, Ville. She died before I even met Robert, but his family still loves her to death. I'd never tried drawing an animal portrait before, so I've been working on that lately, and I'm relatively happy with how it's progressing. I can't wait to be able to put it on here and kinda... increase my gallery, but again, since uni's gone back, I haven't got a lot of time to work on it anymore, which sucks.
Before the dread of uni sunk in, I was thinking how cool it must be for people who do commissions. I just think it would be cool to get money for something you love. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love teaching and I can't wait for it to be my career and all, but I meant getting money for a hobby. I mean... it would just be cool. I wish I was good enough that people would want to BUY my art!
But yeah... I wish I had more time for art. This is going to be a very busy year for me, but it's my LAST uni year, so hopefully it won't be like this forever!! ^_^

Ahh that's a good idea. It's totally worth it having your day the way you really want, so it sounds like you've made some good decisions! Good luck with everything!
Actually, wedding plans have gone pretty stagnant. I want to get married, but we just don't have the funds to save because of school. So we're throwing the cheap route idea around: just sign the papers and then have the whole shabang after graduation. We think planning is a really important part of the whole thing and while we're trying to be practical, we don't want to stress cutting so many corners that the thing actually LOOKS cheap, lol! If waiting means we get to have a really special day we can both look back on and not shudder in shame, it's worth the wait, lol!!
